Dan is a credentialed (California Multiple Subjects) and licensed (Nevada Elementary) and outdoor school naturalist with 25 years of experience in environmental education, and is available for substituting at outdoor schools throughout California. Please view my resume (pdf).

• can provide own curriculum aligned with national, California, Nevada content standards, including field journal
• can adapt quickly to program curriculum, schedule, materials and trail systems

I generally only work full weeks (four or five days), but may be available for shorter term subs in special circumstances.

I also am available for trail maintenance at outdoor school sites (safety hazard correction, poison oak cutting, water bars, trail improvement, trail design and construction), and web site development.
